Liberty Latin America Marketing & Communications Senior Specialist in United States

The Marketing & Communications Executive will be responsible for positively and professionally positioning, promoting and representing the brand, company, products and services to all customers and stakeholders, internally and externally, with a “Customer 1st” approach. Will also drive the development, execution, evaluation and reporting on initiatives geared towards achieving company strategic and revenue objectives, within identified budgets and timelines.

To ensure that all communications related to business-critical initiatives are executed with the highest quality, we are responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range. In addition, the Executive is to provide guidance and focus to advance communications goals for the Grenada BU including its CSR policies and activities.

  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies

  • Organize and oversee advertising bookings and campaigns (radio, social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events

  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures

  • Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and brand sentiments

  • Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, newsletters, website and social material, etc.)

  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance. Plan and execute communications initiatives in line with the business unit’s growth strategies; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility across key stakeholder audiences;

  • Ensure all BU communication and messages adhere to the overall brand guidelines and company goals and objective.

  • Co-ordinate with other departments to develop strategic communications plans, tools and tactics to support the BU’s business strategies and objectives;

  • Act as the major spokesperson for media within the BU;

  • Ensure that a powerful media and stakeholder engagement plan is in place to help meet business goals;

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external publics, inclusive of media personnel, regulatory officials and other key interest groups

  • Foster strong connections with various teams within the company, such as HR, Sales, Commercial, and corporate teams, in order to meet important internal communication objectives.

  • Actively identify communications gaps and opportunities for the business and propose and implement strategies and plans to address when necessary.

  • Provide consulting and guidance to the leadership team on issues related to enhancing communications, building advocates, information sharing, tactics for buy-in for new business strategies.

  • Manage the general operations of the Marketing and Corporate Communications department, including employee relations, team management and project execution, to facilitate the efficient execution of department functions

  • Budget planning, supervision, tracking and monthly expense reporting to keep spend within stipulated budgets.

  • Bachelor's degree completed.

  • At least 5 years’ experience, ideally in a competitive, fast-moving business and preferably in telecoms.

  • Proven ability to design and develop communications strategies to support business goals.

  • Demonstrate the ability to think analytically and develop creative solutions

  • Confident and comfortable when working with executives, senior level management, external partners and stakeholders.

  • Ability to act with integrity in resolving issues and dealing with confidential matters.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, customer care techniques, interpersonal and negotiating skills.

  • Very strong time management skills and ability to work with competing deadlines and priorities.

  • Leadership qualities with the ability to effect changes.
