We are seeking a Communications Specialist to support our customer onsite at Patrick Space Force Base, Satellite Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

Duties:

• Develops communication plans in support of strategic initiatives, programs, and outreach.

• Writes and edits news releases, fact sheets, web copy, E-News, and blog postings.

• Develop social media engagement strategies and outreach initiatives.

• Work closely with government personnel to effectively communicate information to intended audiences.

• Track and report on communication metrics and overall communications program.

  Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in related disciplines).

  Required Experience:

• Minimum 1-year of experience with graphic design, social media content creation, interview preparation, wiring/storytelling, video productions, event planning and desktop publishing software

  Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in appropriate discipline

• Formal training or certification in distributive learning and/or interactive multimedia instruction

  Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
