Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a n Associate Biologist for onsite in Gaithersburg, MD .  

We're looking for an entry-level Associate Biologist to manufacture biological materials and standards . You'll work under guidance to support production of biological cultures and derivative products , as well as contribute to data collection and recording .

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Operations: Manufacturing or quality control (QC) testing of biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOP s ) , work instructions , and other controlled documents. M aintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies.

• Documentation: Maintain production batch records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring meticulous documentation.

• Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Master a septic technique , gain experience with various cell lines and organisms , and tackle routine challenges in alignment with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent

• Hands on laboratory experience and aseptic technique preferred

• Attention to detail

• Ability to adhere to corporate policies and procedures

• Prior exposure to microbiology ( bacteriology, mycology, protistology) , molecular biology, cell biology, or virology preferred
