The Regional IT Program Manager will manage a complex multi-year, multi-function regional program and ensure it delivers the expected Business case to the Business partner, on time, on budget, on scope and on quality that has to be clearly defined upfront or may require dynamic and iterative scoping, delivery and change management (agile program management).; He/ She will be adhering to established Program and Project Management methodologies. S/He is responsible to structure the program, plan, budget, execute, monitor, control and close it, ensuring quality and integrity of the information across the enterprise.

In addition, he/she will supervise all Project Managers that are part of the Program, taking full accountability for the execution of these projects. As part of this, he/she is responsible to manage program level risks, quality and procurement; leads the program team and is the person that program level resources report directly to for the execution of the program tasks they are allocated. This includes project managers of projects which are part of the program and applies across Zones/Businesses. Position holder spends a considerable amount of his/her time at the Program's main locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program structure established, defining projects, implementing agile project methodologies

  • Program governance established, sponsors committed

  • Management of the interdependencies between projects in scope of the program

  • Direct or approve the use of professional service providers/external suppliers and determines their role across the program according to IT sourcing strategy

  • Milestones based program plan established, delivered through incremental releases / achievements. Value delivery plan created in parallel

  • Lead the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications and reporting

  • Program budgeted

  • Projects initiated, program monitored and controlled, risks assessed

  • Lead reviews with executive sponsor and stakeholders to identify organic or specific program needs and/or changes, and direct the development of appropriate approaches to address

  • Projects execution monitored

  • Business case measured (optional, decided by Business sponsor)

  • Program is closed, projects are closed

  • Team and resources (time, money) managed in line with company Business principles and values

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 8+ years of experience in IT and business/industry

  • 5-7 years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs, including agile projects and programs

  • Leadership skills and track record in developing people in particular in managing virtual teams. Managing cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way. Experience in managing change/transitions. Operating in a matrix organization and development of influencing skills

  • Stakeholder management in project/program management role

  • Facilitation of issues and conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.

  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus

  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
