Ryder System, Inc. seeks an IT Business Analyst in Novi, MI.

Duties: Create Ad-hoc reports. Fix bugs, data discrepancies, and data connection issues. Run weekly, and monthly reports for internal and external customers. Analyze and optimize current reports, data connections, and workflows for improved performance. Create new workflows through Alteryx to meet customer needs. Create user friendly visualization reports through Power BI. Train stakeholders on proper utilization and interpretation of reports KPIs. Telecommuting permitted.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Process Improvement, Informatics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, plus 1 year of experience.

Requires 1 year of experience in the following:

  • developing dashboards by understanding business needs, interpret the integrated data and translate this into usable visualizations to drive business decisions, interpreting results and how to utilize the dashboards.

``` - engaging the business, evaluating their needs and ad-hoc requests to prioritize product efforts creating new innovative solutions. - understanding current Data Architecture and Customer reporting solutions to support ongoing BIA efforts for the account. - working within a collaborative team across all operating teams. - knowledge of the Business, understanding the complexity of the supply chain world and the role that data has within this ecosystem. - performing the extraction, transformations and loading from the source systems (ROL, JDA, Customer Provided Data). - Technical Aptitude (ability and desire to learn new things and tools). - using tools like: ETL tools (Alteryx), Data manipulation tools (SQL), Exposure using data manipulation and analysis tools like Access or Alteryx. - developing BI solutions with tools like Power BI.

Telecommuting permitted.
