NPC, LLC specializes in the implementation of structured fresh produce programs, delivery of safe, high-quality produce to national, regional restaurant chains and contract food feeding organizations for over 30 years. NPC’s proprietary Produce Cost Management System (PCMS) ensures our clients have visibility into their true costs and an Online Ordering System NPCOrder.com (OES) that connects our clients to the food produce distributors. To give our clients more control by providing tailored, sustainable supply chain solutions. We achieve this through proven talent, technology, and a commitment to integrity.

Summary:

A member of the IT/Data Team, the IT Business Analyst responds to application requests that require project development, enhancements, or break fix solutions. Have the ability to respond to and resolve some operating problems. The IT Business Analyst develops knowledge of all company applications and demonstrates the ability to manage multiple requests under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • IT Business Analyst responds to the application problems and will document requirements. The Job responsibilities also includes responding to internal application and external customers & distributors requests in the same manner.

  • Produce software specifications (Technical documents) to assist Software Developers and the functional organization in their development/test activities

  • Ensure that specifications delivery dates are met, with a high standard of quality and accuracy

  • Participate in the maintenance of the business application by analyzing issues and monitoring their resolution

  • Development activities will include updating/maintenance of existing SQL (T-SQL) code and/or developing new T-SQL objects (Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Triggers etc.) to address a specific need or solve a particular business problem. This role will also work closely with software developers and IT Business Manager to ensure code is in alignment with documented development standards or industry best practices

  • Experience with production support and troubleshooting issues

  • Review queries created by other developers for adherence to standards and performance issues

  • Interact with Business users for requirements gathering

  • Do impact analysis of existing applications and suggest best ways of incorporating new requirements

  • Create documentation when required for changes

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders including and project managers to report out development progress and escalates issues requiring attention

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, collaborate in developer deployments, testing, timelines/priorities for OES enhancements, new client/distributor integrations, new file format modifications, and bug/break fixes, etc.

  • Participate in business meetings to go over B2b projects in-flight and set timelines & expectations

  • Attend weekly meetings with clients delegated as needed to provide updates on B2b projects such as invoice & order processing

  • Create FRS documents for projects and helped create a client invoicing rules document

  • Create existing and new OES application training material, documentation as needed

  • Work extensively in SQL to research validate client data, and use joins clauses to create custom reports for clients and the business team

  • Conduct testing of all new deployment in OES application and test EDI file changes

  • Daily internal, external partner communications as necessary to manage data flow

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, organization and time management skills, and are flexible and can adapt to change

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, identify, propose solutions to project issues quickly and effectively within a fast-paced environment.

  • Listening and ability to translate client requests into solutions

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Have the ability to apply Scrum and Agile methodologies

  • Enjoy working with a team with a solid track record of innovation, quality, and timely deliverables
